Canvasblocker toggle on/off while on ANY site is not working, whitelist/blacklist also not working at all.

I recently picked up Canvasblocker and have been having a colossal headache trying to get it to work in any capacity without blocking everything to uselessness. Using the second preset and the captcha preset, no matter if I disable the extension in its menu or not the behaviour is identical regardless of how many times I have restarted the page, restarted the browser, etc. I can only get it to actually disable if I disable the entire extension in the firefox extension menu itself.

I can straight up not toggle it on/off on any website, nor can I white/black list anything at all, making this completely non-functional for me.

Any ideas on solutions or even workarounds? This is on the latest version of firefox, Win 11.
