FunctionFlip website instructions don't work on High Sierra

Hi, I was really excited because FF was exactly what I wanted, but so far I can't get it to work.

Not sure if my problem is a bug or not, but either way, it would be good if you put up to date instructions on the website that refer to the Security & Privacy > Privacy > Accessibility > Allow FunctionFlip procedure for granting access, rather than the old one about "Enable access for assistive devices", which doesn't exist anymore.

If there was a check inside the FF prefpane that warned you that it won't work without that Privacy setting that would be ideal. As a normal user, it just seems to not work right now.

@jerclarke are you getting it to work after thus? On 10.13 and 10.14 it's not for me, even after ensuring the setting you mentioned is checked.
