Predict stuck on ground station information input.

When I open predict, it goes to a splash screen for first time opening the program. When I hit any key it takes me to the ground station information entry screen. I can enter the information, when I get down to the last value and hit enter, it shows normal command line entry like the program has closed out. Nothing responds and I have to close the terminal.

I just wound up removing all traces of it and then reinstalled it.

I've already tried it many times, but still happened the same bug.
I tried first in Raspbian Lite with only terminal so, then I tried in the desktop version of Raspbian but I've the same problem.
What version of Raspbian have you installed? What model of raspberry are you using?
......
But I've tried on other distro of Linux (Xubuntu) using the same command than raspi and in Xubuntu it works perfectly, but it has been installed the 2.2.3 version, and in Raspbi always it has been installing the same version, the last 2.2.5. What version do you have installed?

Did you purge it? I'm using Raspbian Buster on RPi 4. To be honest I think I purged and sudo update upgrade and reinstalled and it seemed to work. Sorry I can't be much more helpful than that!

I have already solved copying the 3 files (predict.db, predict.tle and predict.qth) from the directory /home/pi/weather/.predict in the Xubuntu distro into the same directory but in raspberryPi. (The directory "predict" is hidden by default, to access write: cd ~/. predict).

As mentioned above, all I did from memory was; purged the install/files and sudo update upgrade and reinstalled and it seemed to work.

Thanks for getting back.
The problem is with the version you get when you do apt-get install predict in Raspian.
I purged that one and did a git clone from here.
Then sudo ./configure in the predict folder.
I got an error about ncurses, so first had to apt-get install libncurses5-dev libncursesw5-dev.
Then the configure script worked fine.

I was able to get this to work on a RPi4:

after sudo apt install predict

I was able to then download the missing files from the repo:
mkdir ~/.predict
cd ~/.predict
wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/kd2bd/predict/master/default/predict.db
wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/kd2bd/predict/master/default/predict.tle
wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/kd2bd/predict/master/default/predict.qth

then run:
predict

I could then modify the Station and Lat/Lon with the [G] option

I took the idea here and just replaced the files from this repo
