excessive rounding really limits accuracy of this driver -- you limit to 100cm accuracy on a sensor that has few cm accuracy #2

In your driver returns altitude rounded to 100cms, but the sensor can read changes in centimeters.

def altitude(self) -> float:
....code....
return round(altitude, 1)
