Lazygit simply tells the terminal to render in "green", it is up to the terminal to decide what exact color this is. I recommend to tweak your terminal's color palette to pick a green that's easier to read. This is better than making the color configurable in lazygit, because other places in the UI that use green text will also benefit from it (e.g. tab titles). Also, I really prefer dark backgrounds for terminal applications (and for text editing in general for that matter), I recommend to try that, too. |

I don't think it is possible to set the color for staged changes.
It is quite hard to see on a white background.
