Big box nodeboxes

I liked the concept of add visual options to the settings, so I would love to see scale option for individual elements like those black/white nodeboxes. Now those are for me at least, almost small as the Google Ad Close buttons :D

I would like to scale these up and I can very easily make the port visually larger. However, annoyingly, the actual clickable area to make a connection is hard coded at an engine level in Godot (what soundthread is built in) and doesn't change when you change the size of the icon for the inlet/outlet. It's worth noting that the actual clickable area is significantly larger than the port itself so you don't need to be too precise, it is about this large:

I did try scaling the ports up to make this clearer although it made it feel worse to use as technically that meant you had to be more precise with where you click. I have tried (and am going to try again) to override the engines behaviour to increase the size of the clickable area but I ran into quite a lot of issues with getting it work reliably so put it on hold to work on more important issues.

I am going to close this discussion but I am going to open a feature request in the issues tab to remind me to revist this.
