Description
If a user creates a .PGM with samples that do not loop (for example, a kick sample), the VMPC2000XL plugin will loop some of them.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
Operating system: MacOS Monterey 12.4, Reaper v7.60 - January 2026
VMPC2000XL version: VMPC2000XL v0.9.0.21, Built: Sun, 01 Feb 2026 14:44:14, Started: Mon Feb 2 17:28:26 2026
Steps to reproduce:
-
Launch Reaper and insert VMPC2000XL plugin on a track.
-
Load an .ALL file and .PGM (with at least 16-32 samples that are set not to loop.)
-
Go to MAIN SCREEN > TRIM > LOOP > Scroll through the samples and see if any of the samples are set to loop.
Comments: I checked the samples in the Standalone and they were fine (none were set to loop.) When I launched Reaper and placed a VMPC2000XL plugin instance, and loaded the same .PGM, I noticed some of the samples were looping, even though no samples were set to loop. In the plugin I changed all the samples to not loop and saved the .PGM. Additionally, it will persist as a saved Reaper file. However, any new instance in a new Reaper file will still have looping samples. Even if a user saves the .PGM, upon reloading it into a new instance, some of the samples will still be looping.
