Yes I saw those, but I am not into coding or app development that much, I only know a little bit of basics. I'd have really loved to help such a project. But I might want to suggest you some solutions, if you want, you can do web scraping to extract the data of parcels on these websites. The app will automatically refresh the data after a certain interval. APIs might not be easy to get around on these websites. This app is a really good idea. Keep it up.

I'm very much against web scraping because it's way more complicated than our current approach of finding a usable JSON API provided by the delivery services. Usually good targets are the tracking sites themselves, as they get written with modern JS frameworks more often recently, or their mobile apps, as they would be using JSON APIs as well for obvious reasons.

What would be most useful for research and development is tracking IDs, ideally not shared on GitHub for obvious reasons.

I can definitely help with some of the tracking IDs, if you want, I'll send you them in an email. I have a parcel on dtdc right now, and a few on ekart and delhivery. Would that help?

Hey I was just researching and there's this app and website, "aftership". It does the same thing, it just has more carriers and is just not open source, plus it tracks our data. I thought this might be of some help in this project.

There's the reason as to why companies such as Aftership and 17TRACK can afford spending resources on improving their tracking support :)
