Personal notes for MSIX installations, and what could possibly go wrong.
Provisioned new Package, but new version doesn't show up
When installing an MSIX with Add-AppxPackage, Desktop App Installer, or Add-AppxProvisionedPackage, then provisioning a new version via Add-AppxProvisionedPackage or dism /Online /Add-ProvisionedAppxPackage this new package won't be available until signing out, and back in again.
Why? No idea.
Duplicate Entries for same app
Somehow it's possible for Windows Apps to show the same entry twice. Needs investigation.
Windows Server 2019 Integrated context menu missing
Registry is missing HKCR\PackagedCOM, why? Microsoft fucked up the deployment process - probably. On Windows 10 17763 it works fine.
Anything online for that matter? Nope.
