Set maximum column number for ASCII output

Hi! Thanks for this awesome package!
I want to set the maximum number of columns in the ASCII output format (e.g. 80 characters for inclusion into code). I'd looked into the code, but I haven't found out how to do that.
Any help or hint would be appreciated,
