There seems to be quite a number of people that are interested in getting involoved which is great! I was wondering whether we should set up some kind of chat space where people interested in running & developing moss could gather.

Do people have a preference on where this should be? Discord, Matrix, IRC?

I like this idea, I feel like Discord or IRC is cool. I don't use Matrix. IRC I'm willing to give a shot maybe.

There is also gitter. I personally prefer Discord, as I'm using it anyway and it has quite nice features if you create a community server, but I know that some people dislike discord. There are discord to IRC bridges, so we could have a bit of both.

Not gonna lie, I find it kinda funny how moss has more stars than ToaruOS did in the first 4 years of it's repo going public.

Is kerneldev/osdev more popular nowadays or is Rust just really popular now?

Since moss has made it to 4th place on Hacker News, I've been seeing it everywhere on Mastodon. This is insane and I love it.

Given that the kernel aims to be linux abi compatible, while having a rather small size is a big plus for this project. Especially for projects wanting something that can run linux binaries, while not needing full linux capabilities on something like an embedded device.

I think this might be the first time that I have publicly shown this side hobby that I do where I design characters and stuff.
