Add sufficient logging and progress indicators

Currently there are no logging in the app.
We need to add sufficient logs with indicators for the user regarding the progress.
First step could be to start with logs

@hemantgs I have progressed on the logging part in case of exceptions and normal scenario except the progress indicators.
Can you help with that? Please create a chat room for the project on gitter and discuss there.
