The Rotor Gene 6000 example is not working

I tried to run the example provided in order to understand how NAMI worked, but I couldn't.

Probably to have conversion scripts embbeded into NAMI.py directly would ease the usage. To have a Anaconda package or Flatpack and a PyInstaller also would ease a lot.

I will have a look.
To be honest I would really love to get around to making version 2 from the bottom up. A commandline tool with a web interface makes way more sense to me. I'm also quite certain that I could make it a lot faster and I have an idea for an additional algorithm.

Hmmm.... the Rotorgene one works on my system.

I have a PyInstaller version of NAMI for Linux, Mac, and Windows. I just don't have anywhere to host it (Durham University doesn't want it on their site ¯_(ツ)_/¯).

Did you know Nuitka? It transforms a Python program with all it's requirements into binaries like PyInstaller. However first it transforms Python's code into C (somewhat like Cython), and all the optimizations happens, including distributing a single executable for Linux and portable for Windows! And you can host at GitHub, it has an option like to upload your milestones.

I also would love a next version.

Were you thinking about Bokeh? I tried it but now I'm more into matplotlib. Ohh, really great idea, right now my co-workers are doing tons of assays, it really should have a console and a web interface.
