The license question

This project looks incredible! Thank you.
However before continuing to use it I would like to know:

– is it an open source project ?

In the positive case, assigning a F/LOSS license would make things clearer to people (who respect copyright law).
If you support this, then:

– what kind of licensing would you prefer – a permissive or a copyleft one ?

PS. I thought that copyleft would be ineffective for such small project.
