If you select a tag to filter (from the right drawer), there is no x button. You can't go back to showing all notes except by selecting a node from the left drawer.

Judging by the description, this is the expected behavior.
It is assumed that the "tag" is a separate entity, and the tag notes are no different from the node notes, i.e. they are equal in rights, they are simply stored in a different "section" (here the difficulty of translation).
Or maybe I misunderstood the essence of the problem. Then write in other words, please.

For example, you are viewing node 1 which has 10 notes. 5 of them are tagged important. You select important tag and now 5 notes are shown. I want to go back to viewing all 10 notes. There is no X button on the tag like this:

i.e. a way to quickly clear the current filtered view (filtered by the tag) and go back to viewing all notes
