Expected Behaviour
Auto brightness should take effect when the time set is clocked

Actual Behaviour
Auto brightness failed to take effect when the time is clocked

How to reproduce
Download from playstore
Run the app
Select settings under auto mode
Set the time you want it to start
When the time set is clocked,it fails to take effect.

Had a quick look at the code (AlarmUtil) ... if I'm reading things right, if the app is down at 'sunset' time the on-time event (alarm?) it relies on fails to happen. Does android 7 or some app kill apps to clear ram / preserve battery? If my assumption is right, it would also mean that powering on the phone / opening this app 'in the middle of the night' would never automatically dim the screen to the user-set level.

P.S. I had a 2nd look at your recording, looks like you hadn't set a low brightness in the app for night mode - that's the top slider by the way ... so we can't really tell whetever night mode really failed to start
