Performance issues #2

Hi there,
I'm using this with my installation of cmder, as outlined in your PR: cmderdev/cmder#210
I've noticed a significant delay (3-5s) when initially cd'ing into the repositories' directory. This seems to worsen when working with more than one repository at once - open in multiple tabs in cmder.
Is there any reason why this might be the case? Perhaps something specific to my machine that might be able to speed things up a little?
