iPhone getting a cipher text cannot be decrypted using that key error

I get "cipher text cannot be decrypted using that key error" on iphone with a retry button. Nothing seems to work.

I have the same problem (even if I disable contact and callender sync) under iOS 17.6.1 with EteSync version 1.6.1.
I would be very grateful if this could be fixed, as I like to use EteSync but if it won´t get fixed soon, I had to switch to another sync software.

I get the exact same thing. Just paid the subscription so feeling a bit foolish now.
