Select current tab right away

Dear Eric,
I’m coming from by [Fast Tab Switcher][1] extension by @tapatax and looking for a way to have current tab selected or at least be positioned first in the list of tabs when Tabhunter is invoked by a hotkey. Then I would like to, for example, press something else to close that tab. Is it possible?
