[Discuss] In-page navigation behavior (Previous/Next) #473
Description
Decide how we want in-page navigation (Previous and Next) to work.
Should we suppress the "Previous" link on H1 topics and possibly "Next" on pages adjacent to and preceding H1 topics?
ToDo: Consider case where user clicks Next link and immediately wants to go back to previous page.
Example:
If a user is looking at the Output plugins landing page, how likely are they to want to go back to an H3 topic in the previous section? In this case, Inputs > Zeromq > v3.0.3? The heading v3.0.3 makes no sense in context of the Output plugins landing page.
Broader implications
These decisions have implications beyond just the Logstash Versioned Plugin Reference, so we'll need to think through various scenarios and use cases before deciding.
