Hi ekudram,

Thank you for taking up this project. I'm returning to Rimworld after a year away and was going back to TTK when I heard about RICS.

I installed 1.0.16 and felt the lack of one focal point for purchases needed addressed and you have done that in the latest update with the lockers, thank you. Maybe double the slots in the locker?
I was going to report a bug with buying Fine Meals causing a hard crash but seen your post about Lockers causing hard crashes.

!commands doesn't provide anything
$ is meant to be a purchase prefix but to use the store you still need to $buy to purcahse items. Would it be possible that ! only provides information where required unless an actual command and $ alone can be used to buy purchasable items? i,e !pawn human {xenotype} would display information on price/available and $pawn human {xenotype} {gender} {age} actually purchased
With traits is it possible to remove the "add" so it's just $trait?

Passion being on a wager wasn't well received and people were dissapointment there was no $levelskill or child/adult-hood options.

Since it's inspired by TTK maybe we were just ignorant and hoping for a Fresh looking TTK which isn't fair to you, so I apologize for that.

I was going to report a bug where the lockers caused a hard crash, but I saw your post about lockers causing crashes.
Sorry about the locker crashes. Update to 1.0.17b fixes this issue.

Also, you can have multiple lockers. RICS will find and use them first, always.

!commands doesn't provide anything
That command is broken and is a low-priority fix. The !help command directs people to the wiki. I know this isn't always ideal for mobile users.

The $ symbol is meant to be a purchase prefix, but to use the store you still need to use $buy to purchase items. Would it be possible for ! to only provide information (unless it's an actual command) and for $ alone to be used to buy purchasable items?

I have a slightly different workaround for this:

1. Change the purchase prefix to a # sign (I should have used that as the default to prevent confusion).
2. Go into the Command Settings and set an Alias for the buy command—like $ (note: you cannot use $ here if $ is still in the prefix setting). Then your buy command becomes !$ or #$.

The passion command being tied to a wager wasn't well received, and people were disappointed there were no $levelskill or child/adult-hood options.

The passion command is scheduled for a rework.

I think you're referring to the lack of !changechildhood and !changeadulthood backstory commands. Those aren't implemented yet, but I can add them to my list. New commands are added as I find time.

As for !levelskill...
That one is specifically a TTK (Twitch Tool Kit) thing. The people on the TTK team—or their former lead—once attacked me with threats of a DMCA. It failed, but I'm avoiding specific TTK items for the time being.

"Vomit Rain" will never make its way into RICS.
The "Triple Tornado" event is also out.
As for something like "Level Skill"... it falls into that same category.

Sorry I didn't respond for a few days. The Rimazon locker crash took up all my free time to fix.

I get this all the time.
The reason I wrote RICS is that I tried making my own private version of TTK and realized it needed a full rewrite. The "maintainers" of TTK didn't want me involved, yet they couldn't solve the issues that were breaking the game.

I got fed up and started RICS as a personal project.
RICS has many more features than TTK, is more stable, and has faster code. It's also more streamer-friendly, etc.
Is it perfect? No.

But nobody else wanted to do this—not even the one guy at TTK who could and admitted a full rewrite was needed.

But stay tuned.

Having used the lockers more I was thinking the slots would get filled quickly but as you said having more for specific items it's all good.

I was hopeful for ! for commands that provide information and $ for spending the Coins. Thank you for showing me how to set up !$, it's not $ but it's better than $buy.

I appreciate child/adult-hood are a thing for the future and I look forward to future updates.

With regards to the Whispers, I appreciate the work going into it but for me, personally, I'm not keen on it.

Fortunetly for me "Text to a field" is not covered under copyright. Thats commands you put in chat are not covered.

I add commands as I do updates sometimes.
So they could be added

You can also for commands talk to a guy Named Kanburo
or if you have a savy coder in you viewers its really easy to write a command mod for RICS

I also take submissions for commands.
But making custom ones is really easy if you know how to do C#

And its ok that they rejected my ideas.
