AXP192 settings don't work for M5Stack Core2 module

The display backlight is now DCDC3 (Reg 27, not Reg 28) I found values from 0X40 to 0X7F worked OK
LD03 is the vibration motor (I just disabled it at component begin)

The backlight would probably be better as a light component but I don't have experiece of configuring external components.

I do have a working version of axp192.cpp if it helps

I don’t have a Core2, so it’s difficult for me to verify this. The ESPHome documentation recommends using the AXP2101 component—have you tried using it?

Yes the AXP2101 is for the V1.1 version of Core 2, the early versions used an AXP192.
see some other custome components that allowed for multiple versions depending on eth unit used so when I get some time I might explore expanding your external component (which is the only thing that works with current ESPHome version).

I have added more binary sensors for various status bits of AXP192, not sure how useful they are.

I am now stuck on trying to add a virtual GPIOpin (like an i/o expander hub) so that display and touchcreen rete pins can be configured as coming from AXP192. Copying and modifying the config code from an i/o hub is beyond me - I obviously know the code to actually turn the AXP192 GPIO pins on and off though as I use that for Green LED
