Logging Project: Add `get_log()` and `drain_log` to rust API

As a follow on to #58 

**Goal:** Expose access to internal logs via the Rust API

**Scope**:

- Implement `get_log()` to return the current log - includes all logs
- Implement `drain_log()` to clear the log from memory
