TOR_NewCircuitPeriod=1 eg, is which unit?

Hi, i could not find anything online about it. Is it hours / minutes? I also dont see any circuit changes in the log. Does it need any additional setting of configs to work?

Was just wondering this myself, it's seconds. But as torrc(5) describes it, this is how often it "considers" building a new circuit. Not quite sure what that means but take it into account.
