feature request: timeouts

I'm trying to set up this action, and it's waiting infinitely for the daemon to become available. Here's an example:

Can we add a timeout? say 5-10 minutes?

+1 from me, keep running into this too. It happens surprisingly often, around 1 out of 20 runs.

I tried to set a timeout within the action but it seems not supported at the moment, there is nothing about it in the doc: https://docs.github.com/en/actions/creating-actions/metadata-syntax-for-github-actions
And it seems it is not possible to set it when calling the action either...
