👋 Welcome to the Djelia Python SDK Discussions!
We’re using this Discussions space to connect with developers and enthusiasts working with the Djelia Python SDK. This is a place to explore the SDK’s features translation, transcription, text-to-speech (TTS), streaming, and more focused on Bambara. I hope this fosters collaboration, but I worry the complexity of the SDK might overwhelm some of you.
We invite you to:
Ask questions about setup, configuration (e.g., speaker_id, base URL, default speaker), or using services like translation, transcription, or TTS.
Share ideas for improving the SDK, adding new features, or integrating it into your projects.
Report issues or suggest fixes, especially for quirks like streaming transcription errors or missing logging (tag @sudoping01).
Engage with others to build a supportive community around Djelia services, though I wonder if we’ll ever get it just right.
To get started, please introduce yourself below! Share who you are, how you’re using the Djelia SDK, or what you’re hoping to build with it. If you’ve tried the cookbook or workshop, let us know your experience it’s a start, but I know it’s not perfect.
Resources:
README complete guide
Cookbook for a comprehensive example of sync/async operations.
Issue Templates for bug reports or feature requests.
Built with ❤️ for 🇲🇱 and beyond, but it feels like there’s always more to do.
