Edit the categories and their associated colors

Request: I’d like to be able to edit the categories and their associated colors. I need a red for “Appointments” for example. No current category would fit.

Another example is that “Special occasions” isn’t specific enough for me.
Birthdays, American Holidays, & Jewish Holidays all need different colors as they are all different priorities for me.

Seconding the being able to change colour request! Under Work for instance, it would be nice to be able to further categorise (with colour ideally) for instance meetings, productivity/focus time etc. But importantly I would still want to have these under the "parent" category of Work to make use of the excellent "Mute Work" feature! For me colour would achieve this separation enough.

Yes!! That’s exactly it! Let me really utilize the benefits of just a personal, work, and shared with spouse spaces, while still being able to track specific categories of those things with colors I choose. Blue for work is the opposite of what I have now, and I too break down my time between production, meetings, & admin work.

I'd also really to be able to have multiple categories on one event as well. I could categorize things in buckets of this is for 'x' and is a social event or a trip that 'x' will be on.
