Setting the initial soil water content doesn't have any effect

Hi all!

I am trying to run some simulations and I would like to be able to vary the initial soil water content (SWC). Setting the initial_swc parameter for the Management class does not seem to have any effect, and looking into the code it seems that the parameter is set but never used.

I have been trying to look into the documentation of DSSAT, but I can't seem to find out how to set the initial SWC. I believe it is automatically set to the Field Capacity (FC or Drained Upper Limit, DUL), but I haven't had any luck figuring out how to overwrite that behavior. If someone can point me in the right direction, I would be happy to attempt to fix this issue myself.

Hi. I noted that a couple weeks back when I was reviewing the code. I am right now working on a new version were a lot of issues are fixed, that issue included. I plan to release that new version in two weeks or so. The code is almost ready, but I need to work on the documentation. If you can't wait, you can install it directly from the fileX branch. Here is an example on how the initial conditions are defined in the soon to be released version.

@daquinterop Thanks for the quick response. I will have a look at your branch. I had a look at the example that you linked. Is it the sh2o column where the water content is specified?
