Producing Fix/same Output for different devices

Hi there,

I'm working on the Enumerator to identify JTAG pins. I have tried it with Arduino UNO and Nano both along with HW221 voltage level shifter. I have tested it with different PCB's in with for one PCB, JTAG Pins are known. The issue I have facing that it is showing same results for all the PCBs and even after changing the pins connections as well (shown in fig below). As per the below snippet, It;s show this same results for other boards as well.

Additionally, Only "Boundary Scan" is working, all other scanning function is seems to be nonfunctional (as shown in figure below).

Can you please help me out in getting any resolution over this issue.

It does not appear that the setup is working. That you have a target/PCB with a known JTAG layout will help you a lot to figure out what the problem is. I suspect the problem could be electrical rather than code. But it is hard to say for sure. I would recommend using a Arduino clone that doesn't require voltage shifting, if that is possible. This would remove one big component that could be effecting electrical stability which is the voltage shifter.

I have used voltage shifters in the past for JTAG targets with some success but I also had a Oscilloscope to check that the signals I was sending to the voltage shifter were coming out as expected on the other side.
