From case insensitive to case sensitive fs

Thank you for this repo and sorry for asking question here, but I'm actually interested in other way round. Is it possible with Time Machine backup too? Is it enough to just set backup volume to case sensitive and restore?

sudo /System/Library/Extensions/TMSafetyNet.kext/Contents/Helpers/bypass \
    xattr -w com.apple.backupd.VolumeIsCaseSensitive 1 \
    /Volumes/TimeMachiiine/Backups.backupdb/tin/Latest/MacHD

I haven't tried it, but expect this to work. Please let me know if it works. :)
