As @complexlogic mentioned there's no YouTube app for HTPCs.
We can mimic user agent in a browser which allows us to use YouTube.com/tv which is an interface made for smart tvs.
I've gone a step further and I'm able to send YouTube links to HTPC and have them open in YouTube.com/tv
