Seeing "EOF error: end of file reached"

Suddenly seeing this error a lot copying backups to AWS bucket using s3sync.

Indeed 3 AMI boxes have managed the full 100 retries on successive night.

Been stable for years, so running (very) old version of the code.

I'll update our copy, I suspect that the old code isn't handling more frequent errors gracefully.
