git-pair obscures GitHub contribution list #6

Description

@rkawala

I worked at Pivotal Labs for 14 years, and worked on lots of projects that used git-pair. It was a wonderful tool, but I think there's an unintended side-effect. If you give an email like "pair+a+b@foo.com", that commit won't show up in the "contributors" list for the project. To give a concrete example, Phil Goodwin and I made dozens of commits to Robolectric under the author name "Phil Goodwin & Rick Kawala pair+phil+rick@pivotallabs.com". I wish Phil and I showed up in the contributors list for Robolectric.

I don't suppose there's any way, at this late date, to fix this. But I thought I'd write this issue anyway, in case there's an answer and I'm just not seeing it. Thanks!
