Current *.pp in the FPC sources

I tried a little bit with your converter. And clean *.pp files will be generated.

Now to the question, why is code that has been converted in this way used with the current atdf files in the FPC sources?

From what I've noticed, the latest atdf still has some useful consts declared.

The information transferred to the generated units are based on the kind of information included in the original AVR units converted by Jeppe. Only the information needed for typical programming is currently converted to the generated units, other information such as the debug and programming interfaces are not used by the compiler to generate code, so is not included. As you mentioned there is other information that could be useful e.g. some fuse bit definitions and other predefined constants. This information could perhaps be placed in a package (say avr-extra) so that the RTL units do not become too large.
