Choice of supported fork of openFOAM #2

@szynka12

Description

@szynka12

Why:
Different class names and namespaces, different names of bc, different solvers supported

Possibilities are:

  • openFOAM - (by openFOAM fundation I think)
    • Good: Nice set of tools for case management, nicely packed for Ubuntu
    • Bad: No coupled pU solver
  • openFOAM-plus - (by ESI)
    • Good: New solvers straight from industry, cfmesh (read that is better than snappy)
    • Bad: Again no coupled pU solver, different class names (e.g. delta -> filter) means code will not be compatible
  • foam-extend (by H. Jasak, H. Nillson and so on)
    • Good: Coupled pU solvers, coupled turbulence solvers, many new apps (e.g. FEM), nice contribution system
    • Bad: I presume not so bug free and documentation is worse here ( hehe documentation)
