Question: Syncing content across machines

Is there a way to syncrhonize content across machines (via a specified GitHub repository) by chance?

Looks like the database is managed in sqlite3, so I suppose in the current state it would be a matter of committing the database file, which maybe isn't ideal. Perhaps a google drive or box location option?

I actually have been weighing options on the best way to do this.

The jank way is just to commit the file or pull the it from the location the .db file is saved in (I.e., ~.local/share/ticked/ticked.db) and simply share it to your other device but again that's not exactly ideal like you said.

The Dropbox/Google drive method is a good idea, but seems like a nightmare to implement. There's also 'Syncthing' which could work great, but requires some user setup which is a bit complex. And then there's also a sqlite3 cloud storage feature I could utilize.

I'll definitely keep looking into it. Thanks for trying it out for me! If you think of any specific ways to implement this I'm more than happy to consider them. I appreciate the kind words :)

Syncthing looks neat! First time I've heard of it. And true, cloud-based services might be a little onerous to support.

GitHub gists might be an option if it's a single file?

(Not that they don't support multiple files -- it feels like a better fit than a full-on repo though)
