[ core/filemanager ] folder is not updated as file system changes happen

Steps to reproduce

• open image folder with few images so it can be observed as list fills at a core filemanager component.
• add files to the folder in some other file manager/application

problem:

• the image folder in the core filemanager doesn't update automatically.

expected result

• image folder be updated as file system changes happen.
