Not working with the Orion browser

What might be the issue with browserpass not working with the Orion browser? It shows "Loading available logins..." and nothing happens.
I have a symlink ~/Library/Application Support/Orion/NativeMessagingHosts/com.github.browserpass.native.json pointing to /usr/local/opt/browserpass/lib/browserpass/hosts/chromium/com.github.browserpass.native.json.

$ brew info browserpass

It works fine with Brave browser.

Does it behave differently with or without the symlink? If not, my first idea would be that Orion expects the symlink in some different location.

No difference.
Symlink location is correct, according to their Native Messaging docs.

One idea could be to try any other extension that uses native messaging host, to verify their docs.
This comment here is also interesting, perhaps worth a try to drop the symlink in Chrome folder too, just in case that claim is correct?
