Question regarding metadata creation

I just wanna know what ModelCategoryMapping_graph.csv should contain, I'm still new at this so sorry if this question may be trivial or answered already. Is this the Functional symmetries metadata you mentioned in the paper?

index,model_id,fine_grained_class,coarse_grained_class,empty_struct_obj,nyuv2_40class,wnsynsetid,wnsynsetkey,up,front,tags,variantIds,baseVariantId,isCornerPiece,setIds,componentIds

these are the fields in the csv file. and yes they do contain the functional symmetries information

These fields are regardless of the dataset used right? So if I'm using the 3D front dataset I would have still the same or what would I need to change.

Not all fields are used. IIRC, https://github.com/brownvc/planit/blob/master/scene-synth/data/object_data.py is the only code that relies on the csv. You could create the csv yourself or you could modify the code to load whatever format you annotate the 3D Future objects with. But either way, some form of labeling is needed.
