install error on OSX El Capitan

fresh installed node 4.2.4 via node.js pkg installer. installed node-thrust successfully but failed to install pythrust
osx 10.11.2
python3 is 3.5.1, system python is 2.7.9. details in attachment - appears to be looking for an r distribution?
