Persistence

We need to setup a form of persistence.

Possibly a key/value store for simpler data?

• Pickle
• Redis
• Consul
• In-memory

More robust data storage.

• Mysql
• Postgresql
• Sqlite
• Mongo

I can add an abstract base class for key/value data storage to switch between types.
We should implement in-memory storage for easier testing/debugging. And choose a final k/v store for later. For this I would really like to look into pickle.

Based on personal experience, i think we should use sqlite for more robust storage.
