Replace logging APIs with liblogging-stdlog #1
Description
liblogging is a more capable and flexible alternative to using syslog directly, developed as part of the rsyslog project.
Rather than wrapping syslog, we should make use of liblogging instead.
liblogging is packaged in Debian as liblogging-stdlog0 and liblogging-stdlog-dev.
