Do something with the extracted dates!

We should think of a way to select posts based on their dates. I was thinking about several possibilities:

• adding a slider, below the tags, to restrict the dates to a given range.
• adding a calendar widget instead, showing the days with posts, and allowing to select these.

I would think that the slide would be the more useful option, but I am not sure. Any thoughts on that?

That leaves the problem of having several very distinct dates.
Imagine the following: your file has a dozen posts, one from one year ago, and all the others within the last week. How would the slider look like?

Should it simply linearly space the different dates, whatever their "distance" in time? Then you lose the information that one is from a long time ago.

An alternative would be to have ranges like: a long time ago, one year ago, one month ago, one week ago, today. This way, you have some sort of feeling of how old the posts are, without entering too much into details.

Also, should we display in some way the date in the generated html, no? Should we go for a simple thing, just the date as text, next to the title? This also raises the question of displaying the tags in the html... I will create another issue for that.

Now that we have the date and the tags on the html, more and more, I feel like we should use a more intuitive format for date, like this approach, or what you can see on social media

Personally, I'm no fan of relative dates. As strange as it may sound, I loose the feeling for the relationship/proportion of points in time. But If you like it, sure let's implement it (we can allways have a config-switch)
