Frontend Region Display Does Not Cover Links Fully

What happened?

The shape of the region display on the frontend only covers all the operators in a region, but not the links. See the screenshot below.

How to reproduce?

For any workflow with more than 2 operators, toggle region display on the frontend, execute the workflow, and drag any operator freely. The link will go outside of the region shape sometimes depending on the location.

Yes—this is not a bug but a limitation of the original design. The reason the edges are sometimes not covered is that they are not included as nodes during the concave hull calculation. Incorporating irregular shapes such as edges into the algorithm is significantly more complex than working with simple point sets (for example, three-point nodes). In this model, operators are treated as points, and edges are not included.

I definitely consider improving this when we have more bandwidth.

Yes. The change is very localized. We only need to update the algorithm within a single function. While designing a good algorithm is non-trivial and will require thorough testing, the implementation itself is confined to one place.
