I help you with the step-by-step, i suppose to you have windows

Steps:

• You need to download ruby here and choice ruby whithout devkit and install it.
• Open CMD or Powershell o whatever console you have and type ruby --version for check if ruby was installed
• Download zip of the mos_bot and extract it
• You need to complete de config.yml
  • username: your twitch username
  • oauth_key: oauth:xxxxxxx
  • client_id: xxxxxx
• The oauth key you get it on https://twitchapps.com/tmi/ copy that an put on oauth_key.
• The client_id you get it on https://dev.twitch.tv/console/apps/create, put random name in name section, on oauth key put the previus, save the application, then get out of there and you get your app saved, click on manage button or something like that here in you new app, and you see the client_id on the bottom section of page, with that, you have completed the config.yml.
• With a console open get inside of the directory of project (cd mos_bot-master), run bundle install and finally run ruby .\mos_bot.rb and the bot start to run

@Patrick70119 I don't know if that's the correct answer, but I suspect you should downgrade the ruby ​​version. Try to use version 2.6 not the last version

i always get SyntaxError from config.yml.
i inserted twitch_api, username, oauth_key, client_id.
i don´t know what to put in line 5 (mos_bot):?

I don't understand the process for registering the app. On the twitch site to do that it's asking for an OAuth redirect URL, not the OAuth string.

This bot is deprecated, it was never updated to run on Twitch's new API.
