PR Question - Checking Interest + Vibecode acceptance?

I am very new to Github and dont want to step on any toes. I have a custom version of the taskbar widget that uses komorebi, and doesn't show minimized windows that were minimized from another workspace (as komorebi doesnt cloak them itself). YASB is so awesome and I'm so thankful for amnweb and those like them, I don't want to just spam some garbage PR and waste anyone time. Hell I've never done a PR. So just checking on:

• where is the right place to check if anyone is even interested in this, is the proper place here in discussions, an issue, or something else?
• my customizations are nearly fully just claude code. I know some people are very anti that, and i understand of course not looking to debate that here, just checking this repos policy. not seeing anything about ai code in contributing or code of conduct, so just wanted to check
