Obstacle Description

The pipeline only runs terraform apply forward. There is no automated rollback on failure — only commented-out destroy operations suggesting manual recovery.

Why It Blocks Progress

Without automated rollback, a failed deployment leaves the system in an unknown state. Recovery requires manual intervention, which contradicts the goal of zero manual steps and increases MTTR.

Suggested Experiments

• Research rollback strategies for Terraform deployments (blue-green, canary, state rollback)
• Implement deployment failure detection with a clear one-command recovery path
