Create .csv files to store the data.
These files can be created and edited in Google Sheets or Excel.

Store within Assets/

Format of CSV (each row is one record):

• Row 1 is headers
• Row >1 is values

1. Create CSV file
2. Save in assets
3. Create a script in Unity

Ex:

1. Created combat_text.csv
2. Save in unity
3. Create LoadCombatText.cs

public TextAssetData textAsset;

// within Start()

// split rows 
string[] data = textAsset.text.Split(new char[] { '\n' });
// remove first and last line and parse info
for (int i = 1; i < data.Length - 1; i++)
{
   string[] row = data[i].Split( new char[] { ','});
   // load info into object
}

Note: Using this method is Read-Only! Unity cannot write to the file!
