, I have encountered the following error:

Error: get secret value Failed

Has anyone else encountered this error too? It causes the whole retrieval job to fail.

I don't think it's the fault of the deprecation message that your secret retrieval fails. I thought I had the same issue and it was caused by the AWS SDK error, but I just had the wrong credentials set. After I corrected that, I can access my secret on action version 1.1.2, granted I use the access-key method.
