Allow configuration to block  gesture detection.

Hi there! I tried to find a workaround, but nothing yet.

Feature Request:

Add a configuration param to the cube page view to disable gesture detection (such as swipe) to control the state from the controller.

Happy to send a pull request myself after we discussed how this should be implemented.
